with regard to front vs rear sizing, it is a question of handling balance. Going up one size on the rear will, all else being equal, increase understeer slightly. Would you notice it going only one size? Probably not in most cases, but maybe at the limits.
All else being equal, I would go 255 Front with 275 Rear, but 245/275 would not be bad.
