The Rolls Royes aeroplane engines are made cooperative with BMW in a joint venture (BMW Rolls Royce, now called Rolls Royce Deutschland) from 1990 till 1999. After the debacle with Rover cars, the BMW Group decided only to produce premium-cars and motorcycles and left making aeroplane engine to the mother venture (Rolls Royce plc.)

So you're right BMW isn't making aeroplane engines since 2000 anymore.
