I'm tearing up just reading this. I have a 11 year old black lab and a 10 year old border collie. I know that the day will come soon that they won't be part of my family anymore. Both are rescues, and I'm actually allergic to dogs but took shots for 6 months so I can have pets. What we won't do for our dogs.
