And before anyone calls me biased, I own both an M3 and an X5 with the twin turbo V8.. I love great engines of all types..

For a car like the X5 the twin turbo setup is ideal, I want power down low, I didn't buy an SUV to rev it out.. however when I'm in the mood for a spirited drive or a nice cruise, there is nothing that puts a smile on my face like hitting an on ramp in my M3, downshifting to 2nd gear, and redlining the car while the engine sings towards 8300rpm The M3 is a visceral experience and begs to be driven hard!
