Well the Lotus is certainly everything except refined. Driving it for more than 30 min can severely numb your butt and legs. Thus the Cayman R has that slice of the market pretty much to itself, I'd think.
I went ahead and configured one online, came to $72k. That's very close to a nice used GT3... which still has back seats and therefore is justifiable to the wife...  |
Better to get the used GT3 in that case..
