Nobody is asking them to be dishonest. I'm asking why they can't get it CARB approved if it actually does pass CARB?
Yeah, there are added costs to get something CARB legal, but:
#1 You own the market for this, no one else offers a CARB legal kit
#2 You can charge $1000 per kit extra (or less or more), people who want a supercharger kit and want to not worry about California smog laws would be more than willing to pay (I would)
#3 You can partner with dealership like Dinan does, and offer this for showroom cars.
The possibilities are endless.
