At least with my 295 PSSs I feel like there is a slight gain in takeoff. The additional grip plus the minor (insigificant?) increase in torque (shorter gearing effect) from the slightly shorter tire diameter over stock felt like there was a gain. The 305s are closer to the stock 265/35 diameter though so perhaps this effect is negated with that setup.

Where did you find this data? That pretty much tells all...the PSS does run wider than the RE-11s. A full inch difference in tread width between the 305s of the two brands
