You're correct - the backseats are a ***** to get into, but we're planning a rear seat delete to be installed in the near future to shed the extra weight anyway. It's rare even with the stock seats the car ever saw more than 2 people in it. .

I've never driven a long trip in them so I'm really not sure, this was just based on my research I've done on the seats...
Losing the backseat in combo with this upgrade is a sweet deal for shedding weight. Combine this with a light weight battery and you'll shed a ton of weight off this car.
