Last weekend I took my car to the local track, which is nothing more than a go-kart/short bike track for some HPDE informal school/lapping. I've autocrossed with another car, but this was the first time in the M3. Had an absolute blast and now instead of considering minor cosmetic mods (blacked out gills and other crap), I'm now thinking of brake pads, camber, and tires. Strange how the priorities change.
Here's one of my 4 recorded runs - you can see that it isn't exactly a high speed track. I was definitely the slowest high-hp car out there that day but being my first event, kept the DSC on for self preservation. Lost quite a bit of time because of it too. Can't wait for the next session.
