You will trade low end power, which is already weak, for top end power. This is already a high strung 8000 rpm motor. For a track car, I would go for the cams. For a daily driven street car, I would not. I would put the money towards a supercharger.
I ran Shricks on my E36M3. Completely different car with an engine rated at about the same torque and horsepower (240/236). The Shricks 256/264 work great and are actually a mild combination for the E36M3, with virtually no bottom end loss and about 9 rwhp top end gain.
