It's not a good idea to mix different types of tires on the front and rear because they'll have different grip and/or handling characteristics which will upset the balance of the car, perhaps even making it unsafe to drive in certain conditions: e.g., the wet. Also, mixing an old tire with a new, different type of tire is only going to make some of these things worse. Why not buy another set of rear tires that match the fronts? Then by the time you wear thru the 2nd set of rears you'll probably have worn out the 1st set of fronts and at that point switch to four new PSS tires.
