Steering in non-M e9x is a bit artificially stiff. Not quite as bad as 05 and earlier G35 coupe but close.
The throttle response on e9x 328 loaners I had was scary. My Mazda 3 does not do that... when I press the gas it goes. It sucks so much I have no idea how anyone could drive that car daily in anything other than DS mode.
