For a combo street/track pad, StopTech Street/Performance pads have gotten good reviews. Cool Carbon is another one, but I didn't like it so much. Using one pad for both applications sounds like a good idea at first but it's still just an unsavory compromise if you ask me, with both track and daily driving experiences coming up short: they're noisy and dusty on the streets and can overheat and fade on the track.

Most folks prefer to change out their pads for serious track duty and keep the nice, quiet, low-dust pads for home. Ones that perform well on track that I am considering soon are Pagids RS29 and Performance Friction PF-06. Others like Carbotech XP-10 (wore out too quickly for me), Raybestos ST-43 (good price), and Hawk 60/70.

Everyone will give you a different opinion. Good luck!
