There is some drone around 2.8k-3k rpm in 6th gear but it really depends on how much you're pressing down on the gas. Drone is minimal on a flat road cruising at constant speed at 2.8-3k rpm. Drone can get a little loud when you're driving uphills on the highway trying to keep the revs at 3k rpm. I've actually found it to be not bad for my daily commute on the highway. I've had exhaust systems on other cars that other people does not drone but I found it to drone, so I guess drone is subjective.
