So this past week, the weather was pretty decent, I took a road trip down to Virginia. The plan was to drive through
Shenandoah National Park via Skyline drive , then
Blue Ridge Parkway down to
Tail of the Dragon.
This was going to be a road trip of a lifetime with great winding mountain roads, limited traffic and spectacular scenery as seen here:
Unfortunately, the start of second day, a deer darted out to the center of the road without warning and hit the side of the car. This is the end result:
I'm thankful it wasn't worse. So just a heads up to my fellow forum members. Be careful out there, don't ignore the 'deer' signs.
I'm going to get some quotes at body shops this week and hope the damage to the wallet won't be as extensive as the damage to the car...although I doubt it. lol.
