It's characterized as a racing oil, yet says it is formulated for passenger cars. It has a relatively low TBN so not sure if it is suitable for BMW's extended drain intervals. Web site says recommended for BMW M cars but doesn't say anything about being BMW approved. There is a difference. I don't think BMW approves or even recommends any oil for the naturally-aspirated M cars other than TWS.
I would take the salesman's hype with a grain of salt. First of all, Audi's lubricant partner is Castrol, not Mobil 1. Porsche is tied to Mobil 1 - - very strongly.
