There are a lot of rumors about high maintenance. Maintenance really isn't that bad. Of course you don't get free maintenance like BMW, but that's the case with most cars. Oil changes are around $150-200 every 6000 and the 2012 doesn't need the transmission oil change until 36000 miles. It has scheduled service checks, called performance optimazation services, which are free of charge. My buddy has a 2010 and he has spent a total of around $400 on general maintenance with over 15000 miles. The car has been very reliable. Of course if you track the car, it can get expensive .
