You may want to some more research before putting the SS brake-lines on. Some of the hard core racers say that you cannot see any damage to the line this way. I wouldn't think it is such a big deal. The upside is that they are supposed to give you a firmer brake feel. But I've changed to SS lines before and never felt any difference in the brakes. Good luck. Oh and, congratulations.
