I'm not sure where exactly to post this under so I thought General would be the best bet.

Do/Would you guys stay with a brand (doesn't necessary have to be BMW) based on the service you get from the local dealership?

I'll use my friend as an example. He has an IS250 and has been getting great service from the local Lexus dealership he bought the car from. Now he's looking to upgrade to an IS-F, and he is also considering the usual..M3 and C63. He is likely to go with the IS-F because he's had great service with the same dealership already. Even though I re insured him that the BMW dealership across the street, where I bought and service my car, would treat him well too if he were to go with the M3 route.

Ironically, I put myself in the same situation and I would go with the M3, even if my friend told me how good the Lexus dealership is, based on my previous experiences at the dealership.
