I was a DirectFlash user and this weekend upgraded to the E-Flash cable. I got the 240E OE software (coming from 190E) and the V2 Akra Evo tune as well. The E-flash is way faster that the DirectFlash tool, and also gives you the capabilities to read and clear codes. As always, ESS' service is excellent (Thanks AJ!!
). The car is running great!!! Definitely runs smoother now. This V2 tune is not supposed to increase HP when compared to V1 but I'm curious if upgrading to 240E gave me any ponies. Was doing 377whp (std) with the OE 190E (along with mods in signature). Will take the car to the dyno soon to find out.
I would definitely recommend to ESS customers with the DirectFlash tool to upgrade to the E-Flash cable.
