To cut the bodies I use a dremmel plastic cutter attachment but don't go all the way to the edge and leave a small amount of material.
Then I switch to the sanding piece and use a very low setting to smooth it out and get as close as possible so the body won't look like a two year old did it.
As for painting the bodies I have no friggen patience to tape the insides up and than spray them, so headlights and small areas like that always have overspray because I don't care to tape well
