What I do find appalling are people who graduate from highschool unable to speak even remotely close to proper English let alone spell. If they ever get a real job they'll need to sign their paycheck with an X... but they graduated some how?
BTW, I often mis-type and transpose letters when typing.

Yes, I agree with you. I have a threshold for grammatical errors, because I make some myself. It's mostly a minor nuisance. The major problem is when text language crosses over into the workplace.
