i use lime wire.
after you dl it just scan it for worms or viruses.
then install it
then you run a virus scaning softwere
then after that you run ad-aware(free tol that gets rid of spywhere and junk you dont need)

oh if you want you can also run your comp if safe mode
go into the my comp
click the c drive/ or your hard drive
click windows
then find the files that have been created at the time you started to have problems (ex. you started to have probs at 9-9-05, so you look for the files in that has been created that day to present(not the ones before) and delete them)
these look like a little white box with a blue border on top with three little boxes on the top right in the blue.
those are what your looking for to delete.
they are usually spywere installers so if you get rid of them your prob should be solved.
you can also look through the registry but thats so time consuming!
