So in your observations, this has been an issue yet the instructions and the way you are suggesting are the same? If this is true, what is the solution?
The directions were pointing to power wires that simply were not present in the OBD2 connector, nor was the M3 even listed as being compatible (135/335 targeted item within performance line).
