I loved/enjoyed my S65 for three years. The 1M was crazy fast and I think it was more of a litmus test for the next M3 and the general direction of future M sports cars. Personally, I don't think the M3 has to have a V8 to compete within its segment. If BMW could stretch each cylinder in the I6 by about .05l to a NA 3.5l with about 365hp and make it fit inside the engine bay while shaving the weight down to at least 1Mweight or even better minus about 200lbs....this would be a car I would very interested in.
