Using a step drill bit is the key to clean holes that don't mar the paint. Not sure if I understand the other question.

It depends, I picked the my sensors used and pre painted on eBay. The rear spacers are the same part as the front. I sold my rear only PDC module on eBay after the fact. At the end of the day I think I was at $489.
