Right, well SC, I suppose you could put everyone on the same waitlist as long as people understand that someone below them could get a car before them *if* that person happens to be ordering a different body style and an allocation for that body style comes up first.

But traditionally, coupe and convertible have had seperate wait lists, for example. So I don't know why they would decide now to combine sedan and coupe. I mean, technically you could combine all waitlists for all cars into a single waitlist - everything from 1 series to 2009 7 series. But it just makes more sense to keep them all seperate.
