update:
okay I actually swung by the park this past weekend to check it out because so many people are signed up I wanted to make sure it was a good place. I took some pics as well
1. it is a pretty big park, has a huge playground as well which is nice
2. has indoor bathrooms, the real kind, no just little holes to pee in
3. has an area for bbq with 4 pits then another single pit by itself out more, the area with the 4 pits would probably be best for us since there is a huge area to sit that's covered so we don't get too hot under the sun
4. I discovered a 2nd parking lot that was EMPTY when I was there, the first lot I picked had spaces but it was a lot more full, the disadvantage to the 2nd lot is that it's further from the bbq pits. I figured the best way to arrange it is to see how it is the day of so I drew up a new map,
check out parking lot 2 first, if it's full or you don't other bmws, move to parking lot 1. the two look far on the map but they are about a 5 min walk so don't worry
5. I saw a cop when I was there so let's be safe and not cause any trouble. i'm not responsible for any dumb behavior
