I bought some 3M Paint Defender -

I've already got a clear bra on, but I plan to use this on my rocker panel, and a few other areas that are prone to rock chips on my car. I don't plan on leaving it on for a year, just do the event, then peel it of as needed.
I don't have another track day till the long weekend, but i'll report back on how effective it is.
