Yes we did, however the SB was really busy so it was tough to get a seat and the parking lot was a little small. At Liberty Village there is lots of parking (in front of a grocery store) and the while the SB and the pub that we went to after were busy, we had no problem finding a place to park our ass.
The King-liberty area is also pretty cool and the pub was really good - and is also central for everyone. It also gives us a reason to go for a drive (at least in from Oakville for me)
I checked on the city of Toronto website and the DVP and Gardiner are open that weekend (FYI DVP is closed April 26th for maintenance). I do not know the mid-town / north TO area that well, but do you know of a mall where there is lots of parking and a SB? A decent pub couldn't hurt either.
