Most major agencies use laser. By the time your detector goes off its too late. I bought a 9500ix but returned it once a friend of mine told me they are useless in OH. Unless you go to a small town you are going to get hit with laser. A jammer is your best bet.
Going West on Cheshire by Africa Rd you should be able to open it up. Especially when going across alum creek
