Whats wrong with CPO? Shave off $15k right on spot, and the car is just broken in and had it's first oil change already... If planning to keep the car for a long time CPO is the way to go...
Lease? You get limited miles and will be throwing money out the window just like leasing an apartment. At the end of lease you are left with nothing. Lease does not come for nothing either,- you still have to do downpayment-inception fees everytime you start a new lease. It really sucks when you go over miles, it adds up and you get a bill for it when you don't have a car anymore. However, it is a good tax write off when you own a business.
It's hot to get into a brand new M3 everytime, but unless you can buy one out with cash on spot,- you'd be throwing money out for "sentimental value", which is crap. So, find a nice CPO, $20k down will give you very low monthly payment ($430*/month), it will be just like lease, but much lower payment and you will own it completely in 5 years. Better yet if you pay it off in 3 years?
