I live in the upstate region! Our clean up crew do a "decent job" of removing snow. My M3 is still on PS2's and are doing fine, I've even been driving with some light snow on the ground and am able to get places, not up hills though. Our highways have tons of travelers so they are pretty much clear. I'd think you'd be fine. But if it's heavy snow they you could be in some trouble without snow tires, It get's cold and the snow does pack hard.
