I actually had good experiences with Tein coilovers. In my experience, they were super durable. I put a good 80k miles on my Tein Type HA and they rode like they were brand new still. Daily driving, track days every 2 month and autocross every 2 weeks. I was also much younger then... I don't know if I can live with the harsh ride nowadays.
The Type Flex were a bit soft but they were comfortable for street. These were on cars under 3000 lbs so I have no idea how they'd perform on a heavy newer car. Also, I don't slam cars so most of them are lowered about 1 inch or less.
