I think I would go 285/30. You might be conerned about how tall the tire is but I believe when you actually fit the tire over the wheel, you'll be fine. Depending on what brand tires you purchase, the 285 will have a slight stretch(I ran 285/30/19 PS2s on 10.5" width wheel) and maybe that slight stretch will be just enough for you to fit
. I'm going to be running 285/30/20 on a 10" width wheel if that makes you feel any better...
Choose wisely on tire brand. That'll prob make all the difference.
