I believe the OEM cover is made out of NOAH fabric. Good stuff.
If you live in an area subject to a lot of traffic by the car, foot or otherwise, or there is a possibility of hail, I would go with a cover made from Technalon/Evolution 4. Cal Car Covers sells it as Stormweave, Covercraft sells it as Evolution 4. It is a slightly heavier weave, but works really well in preventing dings from things such as marble size hail. My cars have spent many weeks at airports with Evolution car covers with no damage to paint or body.
