I am very confused by this. How can a rubber stopper affect the operation of the clutch? As far as I can see this thing makes no changes to the clutch actuation mechanism. I assume that the engagement point of the clutch is at the same position as before you just can't push the clutch pedal as far past the engagement point. It can't affect the amount of pressure required to push in the clutch or the speed at which the pedal returns. How can that make any difference to the way the car shifts?
