As guilty as I feel driving alone in my car getting something slightly less than 20 mpg, the car is worth it to me and luckily I can afford the cost of fuel. I miss the fuel economy of the e46 M3, though.
I can always drive the TDI Jetta when I start to feel too guilty. And yet, I continue to drive the M3. Even if fuel goes to $5 per gallon, I'm sure I'll continue to climb into the M3 for the majority of mornings.
