I was detailing my car last week and so I:
1) washed
2) dried
3) clayed
4) washed
5) waxed
6) QD sprayed
then got dark, so gave up for the day. I'm on assignment somewhere that forces me to park in a covered garage that has holes in the ceiling and bats that fly in and out at night, so leaf-like debris is on the car everyday...so the next afternoon I:
7) washed again
8) dried
9) waxed
10) QD sprayed
11) wheels
Now to anyone on this board all of this probably seems mundane and obvious - which it is to us. And all of us know that the EXTERIOR is one continuous event and the INTERIOR is another. So on the third (and final day):
12) 303 aerospace
13) Lexol
14) Stoners
15) Vacuum
On this day, several of my friends from work who are staying in a couple of other apartments in our "row" walk up and say "Man, you know that it's JUST a car, right? You know it's gonna get dirty again right?" I tried to explain that yes, I know it's going to get dirty. It's SUPPOSED to get dirty, but that that wasn't the point. They couldn't understand. And I can't understand why they can't understand! Ha!
