OP, glad you got it fixed. You asked about updating your car. If the dealer won't do it for you, somebody with an AutoLogic probably can. I updated my own car with a device called "PassThru-XS." With that device, you can get a 1-day subscription to BMW TIS online for $30, and update your own car. The catch: PT-XS is probably more money than you want to spend.
