I remembered the M3 were sitting in many dealers lot right across the country due to the 2008 world wide financial crisis. I was in the market looking for one at that time, remembering BMW Canada were offering $5000 rebate (unheard of at any time) and plus whatever you can get off from the dealer, therefore, I am not surprised with your huge discount.
Another example I remembered back in 2008 was Nissan were offering if you buy a 370Z, the dealer will throw in a Versa in for FREE. I had never seen such giveaway ever.
