South, I understand your concern, but there is a lot of "restricted" material in the forum. We do not know if maybe in his country, there is no such a speed limit. If you show a video of a car going at 200km/h in the autobahn (where is permitted), doesn't mean I will do the same thing here in the US.
I don't want to discuss this in public for his own good. I saw that he deleted that video from youtube in the meantime.

There has been multiple posts of people showing cars totaled during absolutely irresponsible situations.... driving on a wet surface with no treadware in the tyres and the DSC off.

Now, if we assume this site is for adults, we are supposed to have enough judgement to know what things "are". If you are going to assume children surf this forum, then all the "sexual containing" posts and all the illegal and irresponsible behaviors should be deleted. even many many of the smilies should also be deleted....
Does this means we are going to commit suicide?
Does this mean we are going to smash our computer?
Is this promoting violence???

I personally find it absurd, but if you are going to censor all this, it should be equal.
These are different things and hence quite unrelated to each other. We have a pretty strict rule on any kind of street racing and reckless driving videos. People most certainly know by now that this is not a place to post and discuss such videos. I don't know if this makes atleast one or two not showing this kind of behaviour on public streets, but the possibility of people not doing it in the first place and others not trying to reproduce the results alone is quite worth the effort needed to enforce this rule.

We could discuss at length if the one or other thread regarding illegal mods should be deleted also, but this never means it's the right way to ignore everything and let every post and thread stand.

I'd be happy to continue this discussion with you and - again - encourage you to discuss every thread you consider to be inappropriate with me or other moderators or the administrators, but I think it's better to do so via PM.

Hence I close this thread also. Please don't start another thread on the very subject, but send me a PM regarding any further concerns. Thanks!

Best regards,
south
