That's the thing, there is no "best." It's all about what you like. I'm a HUGE fan of Meguiar's #21 sealant as my LSP (last step product) because it goes on easily by hand or machine, womes off just as easy and looks AMAZING. For polishes I've been using Meguiar's, Menzerna, and Klasse and they're fine but I want something with a bit more working time so I'm going to try Optimum's line. I hear great things about their stuff.

Realistically, with nothing but the change to a machine like the Porter Cable 7424 and your current products you will see a MARKED improvement simply because the 7424 wil polish better, more consistantly, and you'll use less product. It also makes the process faster.

Autogeek and Autopia are great sites to get a lot of information just be aware, these guys are as fanatical about detailing as I am about electronics so it's VERY easy to get lost in some of the threads and jargon. Start with their noob forums and you'll be ok.
