We have a very close relationship with the vendors we choose to work with, VMR not being any bit of the exception. We decided to debut the V710s from VMR ain early June when fitments were being verified:

For reference, these are the General UHPs in 245/35-19 in front and 275/30-19 in rear. Vehicle is on stock suspension, a lot has changed since then.

We have a very unique planned for this M3, meaning all chrome or silver items are out the window. Since the fender gills and kidneys were always swapped for Matte Black - we wanted the wheels to match.

Wheels are the new V710 in Matte Black, which we will be releasing in early October. Specs are as follows:

Finish:
Matte Black

Bolt Pattern:
5x120mm

Center Bore:
72.6mm

Size:
19"x8.5" +25mm Matte Black
19"x9.5" +22mm Matte Black

Weight:
Wheel: 25.0lbs Front
Wheel: 25.5lbs Rear

Tire Size:
255/35-19 Front Bridgestone Potenza RE050A
285/30-19 Rear Bridgestone Potenza RE050A

Rubber is a bit more aggressive as well and we choose the Bridgestone Potenza RE050As in 255/35-19 up front and 285/30-19 in rear. New wheels were installed and debuted at SoCal Euro last Sunday.

On with the pics:

At SoCal Euro on 8/10/08:

Our new BMW Performance Steering Wheel has arrived and just installed in time for SoCal Euro, we've documented the install and will be posting our experience shortly:

It's been a busy month.

Next stage is to be displaying in VMRs booth at AutoCrave in Long Beach on August 16, then the real fun starts as we enter into the carbon fibre phase.
When you installed the BMW performance steering; do you have to recode the car at all? Reason being, BMW told me that I have to recode the car with the install. Thanks.
