Yes, there is an "AMG Appearance Package"" on some MBs, which do have the AMG badge on the rear along with the car's model badge. Frankly, although they look better with the "AMG" wheels and such, I do agree that the ppl that debadge their cars for the AMG badge alone are just lame.
For example, I saw a guy the other day in a debadged black S550 (dual exhaust, custom wheels and an AMG Appearance Package); he had just the AMG badge on the rear...looked pathetic, imho. I mean anyone who really notices that stuff (like me
) are going to know the difference, and when there's a dual exhaust and no AMG quad exhaust, it's quite obvious it's
not a real AMG 63 or 55...exactly who do the think they're fooling?
