Agree with you completely. The Supra is fast and to this day, I dare not to mess with them.

Not even close. A stock 320 HP Supra Turbo would pretty much run with Vettes of that era - on either a track or drag strip.

Nowadays, Supra Turbos are more or less legendary in modified form, making anywhere from 450 HP (pretty much base aftermarket tune) to over 1000 HP.

They say the stock bottom end is good for well over 600 HP with no problems.

There is a joke about them, however.

"What do 400 HP, 700 HP and 1,000 HP Supras have in common?"

"Twelve second time slips."

Traction is a major issue. You'll see them out on the highway, however, running "from a roll" as they say. Deadly out there.
