It still makes zero sense to me because even if he got rid of the Z06 as a result, it would have had a similar value hit given a blown motor. Seems absolutely crazy to not take it to another dealer and get it fixed. If another dealer denied warranty coverage then he would definitely have done something to modify the engine and cause the warranty to be invalidated. Otherwise, there is no reason this would not have been covered and, at the very least, preserved the value of his car on resale. I say it's all fishy.

Anyway, it's an academic discussion in any event but makes ZERO sense no matter which way you cut it.
Yeah but the words “fraudulent” and “dealer” are synonymous with each other. So it makes sense.
