H3ll I've been looking at Corvettes on AutoTrader lately too. A brand new flashy 'Vette red with blacked out wheels costs the same MSRP as a well-equipped M240. Heck the market is flooded with new 'Vettes exactly how I'd like them.

So on the one hand, you have a very capable and reasonably handsome little car from BMW.
But on the other hand, you have a V8 monster with exotic car looks for the same price.
i had a 2015 c7 and now have a 2018 m240i...

the vette cost me 64k cdn in 2015 with limited options...the m240i cost me 51k cdn with a discount in 2018

i prefer the m240i

the vette obviously has more presence and is slightly faster...but its not as fun or enjoyable to drive

gm still pales in comparison to the germans in the finer details which do impact how much you enjoy the drive

it feels sloppy and bungled together in comparison to the precision you feel in a bmw

the PARTIAL throttle response on the c7 is laggy

it is big and feels big

i went from a 2014 cayman s to the 2015 vette and sold the vette within 3 days and back into a 2016 Cayman s

its been 3 weeks since i got the m240i and its not up for sale
