I am sure BMW knows its M3 pricing, and MB also has something in mind, but that doesn't mean that MB can't respond to BMW pricing if they thought there was a need and if they had advance knowledge of it. If you are competing for marketshare in a similar segment, pricing obviously counts big time.
How else can one explain the delay in the M3 pricing given they are beginning to hand out production numbers?
