There are racing shells like the Recaro Profi SPA which weigh only 8.8 pounds each but I don't know if that will delete the side airbags.
If it's just a sensor that's in the seat that could probably be transplanted.

Yes, OEM M3 seats contain airbags. The OC3 sensor is part of the seat leather and cannot be ordered seperately.

We have a Occupancy module that will be released soon for those running race seats and remove the errors.
